Pamela Carter is the only fully qualified, government certified and registered Trichologist in Ayrshire and the West Coast.

Graduating in Trichology in 2019 she been educated by some of the leading Trichologists and dermatologists in the UK, constantly keeping up to date in all aspects of her profession. Fully certified in Nutrition, Haematology, Microscopy, Dermatological Scalp conditions and micro cell biology. She is also a fully Registered member of the Association of Registered Trichologists.

Pamela has a wealth of experience

in hair  

and has been a hairdresser for over 25 years, also co-owning Halo Hair Design in Irvine. In that time gained her level 7 assessors award and she has been involved in training and educating many of the local hairdressers.

Her interest in Trichology has developed in that time with many of her clients suffering hair loss and scalp disorders who felt that they were being overlooked by the medical profession.

Hair loss is not life threatening but a very emotional experience and often people have already attended their GP or health care provider for help but do not get the knowledge or support needed that our specialist Trichologist can give.

As a seasoned hairdresser she has tended over 50,000 heads of hair and has excellent relationships with her clients understanding fully the importance of hair and the huge impact hair loss can have.

Pamela is a fully registered member of the Association of Registered Trichologists and adheres to the ethical code of conduct of her profession.
